Monthly Interactive Workshops

Art-inspired interactive workshops that help kids learn about new interests and develop their skills.

Unlimited Opportunities To Learn All In One Place

Perfect for kids whose appetite for learning is endless, our monthly interactive workshops are the answer to curious minds. We want to provide as many opportunities as possible to learn just about anything that might capture their attention.

Baking, photography, creative writing, art, and more: a child’s mind is constantly soaking up information and searching for new interests to explore. Luckily, the world is full of wonderful activities, crafts, and trades to try out.

Feed into the vastly curious mind of your young learner with workshops that expose them to new activities while strengthening their experience in others. Sign your child up for one of our workshops and watch them light up with excitement as they engage in activities they’ve never tried before!

Who knows– they might even discover a new passion!

 Past Workshops

Creative Writing

Over the course of five meetings, this group workshop will be leading up to the publication of the first issue of an online magazine. The workshop is a great opportunity to create a piece of creative writing that each author is proud of, with a chance to share it with a larger audience of readers.

Holiday Baking

This is a small group program with a maximum of six participants. Students will learn the basics of baking as well as how to make some favourite holiday treats!

Songwriting

A four week course where students learn the basics of composing melodies, lyrics, rhythms, and chord progressions. At the end of the four weeks students will have created a fully realized piece of music!

  • “She adapts and adjusts the teaching pace and methodology for each child”

My children ranging from toddler to teen have been studying piano with Alyssa for over 6 years. She has been a phenomenally fun and encouraging teacher. She inspires and pushes them to excel. She adapts and adjusts the teaching pace and methodology for each child while always maintaining that "Alyssa spunk.”

  • “I was impressed with how the school and the lessons are structured, including feedback, clear instructions for practice, and the option of participating in a year-end recital.”

I had wanted my kids to learn piano for years but as a working single parent, I couldn't fit in the time to go anywhere else outside of school/work/life. Alyssa offered to send piano teachers into the students' homes at their convenience. There were several options for duration and frequency of lessons. I was impressed with how the school and the lessons are structured, including feedback, clear instructions for practice, and the option of participating in a year-end recital. The same quality carried over as the school's offerings seamlessly moved online in March 2020. The whole experience has been very positive, to the point where I even took a year of lessons for myself. I would and I do recommend The Fox Den Learning to anyone looking for quality, fun music instruction.
