Playing the piano is not only an exercise in dexterity, but it also helps to strengthen and develop both sides of the brain. As your child learns, they will also learn to focus on single tasks for longer periods of time while improving their hand-eye coordination. Having your child learn the piano can help them build richer foundational skills which can translate into schooling, sports, and future careers.

Our teachers work with students as they progress through lessons, letting them pick the songs they want to learn, set goals, and hold themselves accountable to practicing outside of lessons– resulting in a greater sense of accomplishment. Knowing they can set their mind to something and achieve their goals is a powerful lesson that can boost self esteem and show them that they are capable of anything.

As your child learns the piano, they will run into challenges that require problem solving and creativity to overcome. The more songs they learn, the more they will have to process and communicate what they’re struggling with in the form of questions and experimenting with solutions.
